For the first two weeks of August, 2010, Bionic Band was at the world famous “Full Throttle Saloon” in Sturgis, South Dakota. The Full Throttle is known as “the world’s largest biker bar.” The place was massive and had some fantastic bands playing during the event. Sturgis boasts a crowd of over one and a half million bikers, which gave us an awesome opportunity to meet lots of people who needed pain relief, better strength and balance, better sleep and more energy. Since the event was over a period of ten days, including the pre-rally flow of traffic, we had lots of satisfied customers return several times with great testimonies from wearing their Bionic Bands. Most of them would bring back friends to buy more, which is usually the case.
During the event, we had the privilege of meeting some pretty cool musicians. One of them was Robbie Merrill, bassist for Godsmack. Robbie was impressed with our product and after taking pictures with him with his Bionic Band on, he stated he would be wearing the Bionic Band “Sport” on stage that night at the concert. Two days later, we met the brand new lead guitarist for Guns N’ Roses, Ron Thal. Ron has replaced the famous “Slash” and had help getting the position not only from his talent but from a recommendation from another great musician, Joe Satriani. Ron posed with us with his new Bionic metal bracelet. Ron was gracious enough to put us on his guest list for the concert at the “Monkey Rock” across the street. The concert was awesome and just as he stated, Ron wore his bionic bracelet during the show!! You never know who you will meet in this wonderful business.
Below are some pictures of Ron Thal of Guns N’ Roses posing with us at the rally:
